WHAT IS WAYAROUND?

WayAround is an innovative personal driving service that gets both you and your trusted car home safely so you never have to worry about driving when you don’t feel you should. Because with friendly, timely, well-trained driving teams of two – you can get home worry free.

IS WAYAROUND A TAXI SERVICE?

No, WayAround provides you with a safe ride home in your own car. Users are not permitted to ride in a WayAround support vehicle.

WHAT SERVICES DOES WAYAROUND OFFER?

WayAround:  The convenient “WayAround” service provides a personal driver to safely drive a user, in the user’s car, anywhere the user desires.

WayHome:  The signature “WayHome” service sends two drivers to a user’s location. The first driver drives the user and guests, in the user’s car, home, or to another location; the second driver follows to retrieve the first driver.

HOW DOES WAYHOME GET ME AND MY CAR HOME?

WHY SHOULD I BECOME A PREFERRED USER?

1.  Enjoy priority pickups over Standard Users
2. Save a minimum of $25 on WayAround rides plus an additional $10 per hour after 2 hours. (An average 4 hour WayAround ride saves you $45)
3.  Save $25 on WayHome rides

HOW MUCH DOES A PREFERRED USER STATUS COST?

Yearly:  $190 ($38 savings)
Monthly:  $19

HOW MUCH DOES A RIDE COST?

Way Around
Preferred User:  $50 driver fee + $25/hour over 2 hours
Standard User:  $75 driver fee+ $35/hour over 2 hours

Way Home
Preferred User:  $25 driver fee + $2.95/mile
Standard User:  $50 driver fee + $ 2.95/mile

HOW IS WAYAROUND DIFFERENT THAN OTHER RIDE SERVICES?

WayAround offers the highest quality experience for both one-way or round trips, all in your own vehicle. No questionable pickups, no peak pricing, no long wait times. Our user service will get you home or around town, all in the comfort of your own vehicle.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?

Way Around
Monday – Sunday:  7am – 2am

Way Home
Thursday – Saturday:  8am – 2am

RIDE DETAILS

HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN MY DRIVER ARRIVES?

You will be able to see the driver on your phone as he approaches, but you will also receive a push notification and call when they arrive.

CAN I CONTACT MY DRIVER?

Yes. When your ride is accepted, you have access to your driver’s name and contact info.

IS YOUR SERVICE DISCRETE?

Yes, our drivers will be wearing casual attire with a WayAround collared shirt or scarf, no suits, or silly chauffeur hats. Think of it as getting a ride home from your friend.

CAN I USE THIS SERVICE WITHOUT THE WAYAROUND APP?

No, Since WayAround is an app-based service; you must request a ride using the mobile app.

WHAT PHONE DO I NEED TO HAVE IN ORDER TO USE WAYAROUND?

Members must use an iPhone 4 or newer, running iOS 8.0 or newer.
We will soon be releasing an Android app!

REFERRAL PROGRAM

WHAT IS THE GIVE $10 AND GET $10 PROGRAM?

The “Give $10 Get $10” referral program is our way of rewarding existing users for referring friends and family. Each user will have their own unique referral code that they can easily share through the app. Once you share your code with a friend they will receive $10 off their first ride, and when their ride is complete, you’ll automatically receive a $10 ride credit for your next ride. There’s no limit to how many ride credits you can receive, so share away!

POLICY ON GUESTS

WILL YOU DRIVE MY GUESTS HOME TOO?

Yes. We will drop your guests off, but please remember to factor that into your tip at the end. We recommend an additional $10 for each added stop.

HOW MANY OF MY GUESTS WILL YOU TAKE HOME?

As long as every guest can travel in your car safely with a seat belt (including our driver) we are happy to provide him or her a safe way home.

DRIVERS

DO YOU RUN BACKGROUND CHECKS ON YOUR DRIVERS?

Yes. We understand the importance of taking proper care of your car, and making this experience enjoyable. Suitably, in addition to being trained, licensed and insured, all drivers must pass background and driving record checks.

PAYMENT

HOW DO I TIP?

Tips may be paid to the driver in cash, or through the app.

PRIVACY

IS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION KEPT CONFIDENTIAL?
Absolutely. We understand the importance of privacy to our users. That’s why we only hire drivers who understand this aspect of our service and are willing to sign a User’s Privacy Protection agreement and a confidentiality agreement.

CANCELLATION POLICY

WHAT HAPPENS IF I REQUEST A WAYAROUND RIDE AND THEN HAVE TO CANCEL?
Once a driver accepts your ride, you have will have 15 minutes or up to 20 minutes prior to your scheduled start time (whichever is later) to cancel your ride free of charge. But after that, it will cost $25 to cancel.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL MY PREFERRED USER STATUS WITH WAYHOME BEFORE THE END OF THE TERM IS OVER?
If you are unhappy with our service for any reason, you may cancel at any time. If you signed up for monthly payments, your card will not be charged further. If you paid in advance, you will be reimbursed-minus the months you’ve used.
